Quality and safety are part of the Matos philosophy. Not all of these standards are required in Algeria; we apply them by commitment, and because our ambition reaches beyond the national market. Our products use components manufactured to standards recognised worldwide.
Our component certifications
- CECompliance with European Union directives on health, safety and environmental protection.
- EN 62368-1/A11Safety standard for audio, video, information and communication technology equipment.
- GS — Geprüfte SicherheitVoluntary German mark, "verified safety", issued by TÜV Rheinland or Bureau Veritas.
- UKCAConformity marking for products sold in Great Britain since Brexit.
- ETLTesting by an accredited third-party laboratory to ANSI, UL, CSA, ASTM and NFPA standards.
- CCCMandatory certification in China: product testing, initial factory audit and annual inspections.
- PSEMandatory certification in Japan, under the DENAN electrical safety law or the international IEC standard.
A commitment, not an obligation
None of these certifications is required by Algerian regulation. We seek them because they impose manufacturing discipline, and because they can be checked: each one corresponds to a test file that can be consulted.
